ABC's "The Daily Show" Labels Cory Aquino "Slut"

It's no doubt offensive to the Aquino family, yeah, sure sure sure, whatever. I mean, yeah, "slut" is too strong a word, and like I mentioned before, an offensive remark is an offensive remark, no matter how or where it was said. But what I don't like is what they're saying that one doesn't dare treat a former president, a woman who "faced down dictators," someone chosen by the Filipinos to lead, etcetera etcetera etcetera, like that.
Nonoy Aquino, you are not-so-indirectly implying that your mother needs to be treated with respect because of what she was/is. So where does that leave the ordinary Filipinos, eh? You don't treat someone with respect [append special reason here]. You SHOULD treat EVERYONE with respect, period.
But that's just me. Coz, you know, I'm never really fond of people who "want to serve the Filipino people" when they can't even serve their own community properly.
