YuYu Hakusho Drabble # 3

Botan looked over the vast blue of the ocean, her heart throbbing painfully as sobs shook her lithe form. The huge boulder on where she stood was the only support she had, yet she refused to accept the gentle comfort it gave her.

Genkai was dead.

The blue-haired deity was the one who brought the old psychic’s soul to the Gate of Judgment. She never shed a tear while doing her job; she knew Genkai wouldn’t approve. But the loss still haunted her senses, her whole being.

“I’m sorry, Genkai,” she breathed. “I’m sorry I had to take you away.”
