kSolo.com Shutting Its Doors

I received an email today that totally turned my world upside down.

Dear kSolo Member,

As one of our most loyal members, we'd like to inform you that as of May 31st, 2008, kSolo.com will be permanently shutting its doors. All recordings made on kSolo will be unavailable after this date.

We have been working diligently to create a new and enhanced online singing experience for you to enjoy. Due to licensing restrictions, the new site is currently available only within the United States, however, support for additional countries will be soon to follow.

We regret this inconvenience and hope to hear you singing again soon!

Such a sad thing, really. I've enjoyed the online karaoke for almost 2 years, for the most part. Our Magic Sing's 3 song chips got old already.

It wouldn't be the same having to browse the site using a proxy.
